- When I read the phrase, “Simply the Best” I
wondered if it was true so I made my reservation to visit. I was
amazed and really impressed. Gulf Waters RV Resort – Port Aransas,
Texas is a beautiful and truly unique beach front RV resort community.
It’s all here for you, whether you come from the North, East or West.
It’s just a short free ferry ride from the Texas mainland or a short
drive over the causeway from Corpus Christi. Life is a little bit
slower and much more relaxed here. Upon arrival I immediately noticed
how spacious the sites are and how diverse and lush the landscaping that
is everywhere in the resort. The tropical plants, shrubs and palms are
everywhere. Each site is uniquely different and designed for the longer
rigs. Four slides? Its no problem here and there is still plenty of
space between you and your neighbor. There are freshwater ponds located
on the vast acreage and they are peaceful and useful all at the same
time. They attract wonderful native birds looking for dinner or a place
to rest a bit and provide a home for our ducks and turtles. You can see
nature at its best, pick up your fishing pole, walk just 250 feet over
the walkway and cast your line or walk along the beach and listen to the
waves. I couldn’t help but feel the calm come over me as I sat and
watched the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Another notable
distinction is how immaculately clean the resort is. The concrete
roads, pads, driveways and patios really compliment this fact. It’s
very obvious the minute you arrive that the owners and the people who
work here take great pride in the resort. The location is fantastic. I
could hear the waves and smell the clean air the minute I stepped out of
my rig. I almost broke into a run just to put my feet on that great
soft sand and into the beautiful blue water! It even looked warm before
I stepped into it. And if that’s not enough, the resort is just far
enough away from the City hustle to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in
their natural setting, but without the inconvenience of having to travel
a long way to the nearest town.

- Gulf Waters is
not just a place to park your rig. It is a travel destination for
families and a romantic getaway for couples as well. You can take a
swim in the warm Gulf waters or the huge clean pool then relax and soak
in the bubbly hot tub. The staff is so friendly and helpful that I just
felt at home right away. We found the place we could definitely get
away and relax. When we leave here we’re going to tell our family and
friends. Why don’t you join us next time? You can stay a night, a
week, a month or own a site and stay a lifetime. This is a beautiful
resort and there is so much “Island lifestyle” waiting for you to enjoy.
